Eagle Scouts

The Veterans of Foreign Wars has recognized The Boy Scouts of America as the nation’s foremost youth program for character development and values based leadership training.

The VFW has been associated with the Boy Scouts since 1915 and the Chalfont Post since 1996. It has become a tradition for the Post to recognize the accomplishment of those young men who have reached the rank of Eagle. Those Scouts are presented a certificate by representatives from the Post at their Court of Honor.

We, in Chalfont Post 3258, appreciate the mission of the Boy Scouts, which is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. They assist our Post in so many ways around the community, such as helping Post 3258 replace American Flags at all the local cemeteries and our yearly flag burning ceremonies. We are honored to be apart of helping these young men become the future of America.
